We're honored to kick off this series with an exceptional advocate in the hearing loss community: Dr. Latisha Porter, PhD

Dr. Porter brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our blog. She is:

- President of the Hearing Loss Association of America New Jersey State Association

- Co-founder of the Hearing Loss Association of America—HLAA Essex County

- A Gallaudet University Certified Peer Mentor

- Author of three books on hearing loss

In her upcoming guest post, Dr. Porter will share insights from her journey and introduce her exciting new children's book series, "Mighty Hearoes: Tales of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Champions," set to launch in 2025.
