I had a wonderful birthday evening that included dinner and a captivating conversation with LaToya Jackson, sister of Michael Jackson. Unfortunately, my hearing aids lost power just before the show started. I chose to embrace the moment and enjoy myself despite the hearing challenges. Life is too short to dwell on things we cannot control.

On May 31st, the HLAA Walk4Hearing event in Long Beach was a tremendous success. As the walk team captain for the LASTARS, I am thrilled with the outcome of our fundraising efforts and the incredible growth of our team. The day was marked by perfect weather, enhancing the overall experience as we came together to support hearing loss. The energy from our expanding team was inspiring, and it was rewarding to see our collective impact reflected in the funds we raised. It was a memorable day for everyone involved.
